Home Infusion Nurse Opportunity in Phoenix, Arizona
Position: Home Infusion Registered Nurse
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Overview: Become a part of our dedicated team in Phoenix as a Home Infusion Nurse. Provide exceptional nursing care to patients right in their homes. Your role will focus on the safe and precise administration of parenteral products, all while upholding a compassionate and professional approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and accurately administer medications, including oral, IM, SQ, and IV products.
- Build trust and understanding with patients and caregivers through empathetic and professional communication.
- Ensure IV access for infusions and conduct phlebotomy when required.
- Diligently document all patient care activities in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), adhering to state and federal regulations.
- Team up with healthcare professionals to guarantee the efficacy and quality of medications.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, ensuring clarity and confidence.
- Stay abreast of equipment maintenance and participate in organizational quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A graduate of an accredited nursing school with a minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse.
- Active Registered Nursing license.
- Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification.
- A valid driver's license, access to a vehicle for business-related travel, and proof of liability insurance.
- Proficiency in computer systems and nursing technology tools.
- Openness to travel as needed.
